BracketMerge is a digital image enhancement application used to merge exposure and/or focus bracketed images. BracketMerge enhances brightness, color saturation and depth of field.
Features: Exposure bracketing is a process of capturing several images of a scene with a variety of exposure settings. You then select the image that is most desirable. Focus bracketing is a similar technique using different lens settings for focus distance and selecting the one with the most desirable effect. Most of today’s digital cameras have a setting that provides automatic support for exposure bracketing. A set of bracketed images can be merged for best possible effect in the output image. BracketMerge is a Windows application that takes exposure or focus bracketed images and supports different criteria for blending those images two at a time. You can merge on a pixel by pixel basis to produce one merged result.
If sufficient number of input photos are available, you could carry out the merging in several steps.Multiple merge operations can be used to merge multiple images into one result image. Exposure bracketed images can be merged with BracketMerge to reduce or eliminate over exposed regions of an image and add definition to areas that otherwise appear uniformly dark. Less exposed areas typically have better color saturation, hence Merging exposure bracketed images can also enhance color saturation in a natural way. Color in a picture then can be made to look more natural. Similarly focus can be made crisp by merging focus bracketed images. Macro photographs can be similarly enhanced. BracketMerge is a digital image enhancement application. It merges exposure and/or focus bracketed images. It is able to enhance brightness, color saturation and depth of field. BracketMerge operates as an Image Based Enhancement tool.
Overall: It provides a nice means of create color, focus and brightness adjusted for most desirable effect. Reasonably easy to use once you have learned the implications of setting things properly.
